Barite-Barium Sulphates can be added to polymers in high percentages due to low resin demand and consequently due to low oil absorption and good processing rheology. In terms of improving the physical properties, while it causes to gain excellent impact strength, sound and anti-vibration properties, it makes a significant contribution to increase the transparent property when very fine microns are used. 

• Barite in Surface Coatings 
  

As a white pigment and functional filler with its covering properties in the paint industry, it includes performance enhancer, durability, strength and excellent compatibility with other pigments. It also offers excellent solutions for many specific formulations, including powder coating and transparent coatings. Besides, it can be used safely in all floor coverings especially primarily being epoxy and polyurethane floor coatings.
